Winters calling

Nobody can ignore the fact that autumn/winter is on its way. It has to be my most favourite time of year, im loving all the winter woolies now making apperances on the high street and its getting my excited for dark nights around the city with the christmas lights glittering while i'm wrapped up all warm in my winter coat and woolies.

I couldn't resist looking at coats and jackets online at my favourite store, Zara and yet again i found some absolute stunners.

1. Tweed is a great love of mine, it always has been and im loving how much of it is now in the high street. Everythings looking somewhat old english equestrian and its wonderful. This particular jacket automatically caught my eye with its unusual length and stunning elbow patches such a shame it has a hefty £99 price tag otherwise i would be sticking it in my basket within seconds.

2. Again tweed, but this time incorporated with one of my new obbsessons, capes! How could you resist that! a tweed cape, utterly gorgeous! I love the attention to detail on the neck, really adds a special something to the garment.

3. This has to be one of my favourite pieces from their recent range. I love the way they've made a gorgeous christmas jumper into a stylish fur lined coat! I could just imagine strutting down the street wrapped up in this gorgeous jacket/jumper and feeling on top of the world.

4. I thought this coat was really cute, not my usual cup of tea but something about it just caught my eye. I really like the way the double breasted front hangs at an angle when its undone. Not to mention the adorable gold buttons on the arm and the slit up the back, and it has a hood! What more could a girl want in a coat?

5. Now who can ignore the fact that quilted coats are bustling throughout the highstreet with everybody going crazy over barbour jackets. I love this sophisticated take on the side and the mixture between the blue and brown works really well, which i never would have thought. I cant help but love the elbow patches and shoulder patches on this coat, it adds a cute little touch which makes it different from all the other quilted jackets around at the moment, and definatly one of my favourites so far.

Who can go through autumn and winter without some gorgeous knitwear! A mixture between fine knit and super chunky jumpers, just what every wardroabe needs.

1. I adore this cardigan so much! Im a big fan of the christmas style jumpers that are around at the moment, they remind me so much of my grandad which instantly makes me fall in love with them. I love how they've incorporated the christmas style jumper into a cardigan with elbow patches! I cant resist elbow patches.

2. Again the elbow patches attracted me to this jumper, along with its think cable knits. Im currently learning how to knit and hope that before long i'll be able to create gorgeous jumpers just like this!

3. At first i wasn't sure on the colour of this cardigan and if it was all too much yellow/cream with the top and skirt but after a few minutes of staring at it constantly i decided it did work! Its also avaliable in other colours such as a gorgeous bottle green which they teamed with navy peg pegged pants and a taupe/grey tshirt. Again did not know how well this could work together but it does.

4. I love big thick chunky knits and couldnt not include this gorgeous charcoal grey wrap around cardigan. I just love the big high collar.

5. Yet another cape! But this time jumper form! Adore the funnel neck and leather finishing touches.

6. Jumper to match the first cardigan, again with elbow patches

7. Again another wrap around cardigan with that gorgeous big collar, this time incorporating christmas jumper style knit in gorgeous caramelly tones.

8. This particular cargian reminded me somewhat of the millitary trend, but with a much softer edge, with it being knitwear, and a gorgeous mustard colour.
