Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you had a lovely day, I certainly did. My brother came home for Christmas which is a present within itself as I don't get to see a lot of him since he moved to Sheffield for University 4 years ago. Like always my Grandma came over to our house to spend Christmas day with us and it was lovely. I got so many beautiful gifts, my main present being a 50mm 1.8 lens which is the most amazing thing I have ever owned in my life. I can't stop taking photographs with it (all these photographs were taking using that lens) Other things I got included wine, perfume, a dressing gown, a few DVD's, a huge load of books, a lens mug, a camera necklace, chocolates etc etc.
I couldn't get a 50mm 1.8 lens and not have some out of focus christmas light photos.
Christmas dinner was gorgeous, instead of crackers mum got everybody a little table present and we all got different types of tea, how very British.
We don't really do a lot on boxing day but this year we had a small get together and had some of the family around for drinks and nibbles which was lovely, and then my cousin came up to visit with her three sons who are gorgeous. We took them to the beach today and it was so much fun.
